  Glenn Drohan

I was told that North Adams Transcript editor Glenn Drohan passed away this morning.

Indeed. Glenn was a good man who cared a great deal about journalistic integrity during a depressing time in journalism. Sometimes I emailed him when I thought he handled a particularly tricky situation well. I didn't take the time to do this often enough, and he surely heard far more often from those who were angry. Takes integrity to keep doing that work. It's incredibly important work. This world, this country, would benefit from more of him.
