  Politics of Convenience
State Senator Brown really thinks we are stupid:
On Wednesday, Republican senate candidate Scott Brown told reporters in Massachusetts that he was "unfamiliar" with the "Tea Party movement," despite receiving the endorsement of a key national Tea Party group which is currently raising money for his campaign to replace the late Sen. Ted Kennedy.

But Brown's claim to be unfamiliar with the Tea Party movement is belied by photographs produced by his own campaign.
It turns out that the Boston Globe blew the original report of this. Josh Marshall corrects.

Still, it is clear that Brown flips more that Greg Louganis. Healthcare, access to Plan B, torture, etc....

While I don't agree with a lot of Republicans on several issues, I respect where they are coming from.

But when you start lying under electoral pressure, respect is not a word that comes to mind.

Comments:
Idiot comes to my mind.

This is an odd position to take because if Brown wants people to believe he truly is unaware of the Tea Party movement, he is essentially saying he doesn't pay any attention to current political events. Is that really what he thinks will compel people to vote for him?

This guy is turning out to be the ultimate FLIP-FLOPPER. Didn't the right have a problem with someone this a couple years ago?

For once I agree with you on something! The Globe has lost all respect now that they are lying under electoral pressure to get Coakley elected.
