  Can't Stop the Bleedin'
Jae's is going buh bye:
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Boston restaurateur Jae Chung's venture into North County is coming to a halt on Sunday as Jae's Inn closes its doors.
Crap.

Comments:
I guess they can build an even bigger WalMart now.

Well, I can't say I'll miss Jae's, but we've probably surpassed any reasonable limit for shuttered store fronts.

Or perhaps I should hold that sentiment for when the new Wal-Mart rolls in.

More depressing news. Jae's was the only place around here where the fish worked for me. (I wouldn't doubt it's good at Gramercy, but that's a big step up in price, and I'd be more likely to order duck or veal there.) I can't claim to have I supported Jae's all that much, though, since I always went for half-price sushi on Tuesdays. For this past year they've been pretty quiet even on Tuesdays.
