  Seen Around Town
The grassroots are mobilizing.

It's going to be an interesting campaign season.

Comments:
Where do you get one of those?

Cup and Saucer on Main Street.

$3 - proceeds go to Dick Alcombright for mayor.

Does the Cuo & Saucer still have their sidewalk sign endorsing Alcombright??? chbpod

indeed we do still have a sign endorsing alcombright.....it will stay there till he takes his seat in november. - dan.

Ok- other than the photos taken at the Cup and Saucer-- how many other people are sporting these
campaign wristlets around town??
And what's the street smarts about the Council election?? Greg promised more info in an earlier post---chbpod

Photos were taken in a local grocery store. From what I have been told, somewhere in the neighborhood of 70 have been sold.

As for council updates, aside from the names we've all heard, I'm sitting on one story for a little while longer. But there appears to be a disability advocate who is tossing her hat in the ring. She posts on Topix as nacitizen. That's all I know.

as of last week, 100 plus have been sold!

NACITIZEN???--good grief-- thinks that the Mayor is picked by the City Council and that the Nortehrn Berkshire Community Coalition should be more involved with the Zoning Board of Appeals??? good candidate---but Greg?? when are you announcing?? frankly you could be the asshole that I have always thought-- BUT on the other hand you could be an asset---I guess it all boils down to what comes after "ass"---well if you do run-- good luck-- chbpos

Really? NACitizen? Yow. Here's her last full and complete Topix post, reproduced as written:

lol the fact is we need to finance ZBA will soon have to be supported by the people is something our state pays for cut maybe time to cut funding its not easy being political in these daysAll I could say was...what?

Ross-- "WOW" is an understatement--you are so under control---the mind just boggles--(that's not about you but about NACITIZEN- chbpod

Do I dare ask what kind of a disability NACITIZEN has or is it the obvious one? ;-)

NACITIZEN says she has CP-----chbpod

Her name is Mary Ann Albee- she was at Council last night-- I had seen he before but never quite got the name-- she had been there with the motorized wheel chair brigade--last night under Open Forum she spoke about improving CCASS scores--more articulate verbally than writing---chbpod
