  Anybody wanna start a pool?
Perhaps we can wager a soda on the date of Cup and Saucer's next Health Inspection.

Putting that up takes cojones. Ya gotta' respect that.

The full photo, taken by the unparalleled Gillian Jones, available on coffee mugs and mouse pads via The Transcript's web site.

Comments:
A reporter for the Transcript told Dan (the cup and saucer's owner) that she was in Mayor Barrett's office when he was looking at that photo (which ran on the front page, just below the fold) and quoted him as saying, "Who the f*@k does he think he is?"

Er... he's a guy that supports a candidate in a democracy... better string him up.

I think it would be tough for the city to shut him down, politically, that is... especially now that it ran on the front of the paper.

I'm surprised the Transcript ran it. Boss man is not going to like that.

Greg you are so correct on this one-- remember CTrem and the benches in 2005---however, his benches had a sign that said compliments of Tremblay Electric--so it was regarded as advertising by the Building Inspector--this is different- clearly "political"----free speech?? is there a permit? does The Hub have a permit for theie sandwich sign---with cojones that size- will Cup and Saucer start selling Italian pastries?

My reaction to the photo was OMG here we go again-chbpod

Someone/something was making them scrub the sidewalk out front yesterday. Related?

The big thing that will hurt Dick is the intimidation factor. Barret's and his Brownshirts will make life miserable for a lot of folks if he (Barret) wins. You know they're taking names.
