One Man's Pork is Another Man's Bacon This table has been floating around for a couple of days. It demonstrates pretty effectively the multiplier effect (aka "bang for the buck") of dollars spent in a stimulus. As I argued below, helping those in the most precarious positions (food stamps, state aid via medicaid, etc....) is BY FAR the most effective way to inject money into the economy.
I would suggest that those who are twittering about over tax cuts, etc... need to have their lunch handed to them just as Professor Krugman slaps around the ideologues on the Daily Joe:As the President asked last night, "Are these folks serious?"
