  More Than Wires
Driving around my undisclosed location I noticed some funny looking antennas hanging off of the utility poles every few hundred feet. After asking around, it turns out that this large city is installing muni-wireless internet for all of the residents. It seems that the commercially available options have been gouging consumers and the city has determined that they can do it better and cheaper.

(The photo to the left is a random image from the web that looks similar to what is being installed. It was too dark to take my own picture.)

Why on earth would the city government want to help it's businesses and residents? What do they think, it will attract more of each? How did so many dilettante's end up in one city?

If he's in Minneapolis--why doesn't he WiFi the Larry Craig stall- while he's there---no need for foot tapping- such a primitive means of communication---chbpod

chbpod...He can't, the line of Republicans waiting for their turn in the stall is to long! It stretches all the way to the "Mall of America".

Not yet amigo-- but just wait until this summer's Republican National Convention----they've decided not to use a normal podium--- they're going to use THE bathroom stall instead-- chbpod

chbpod.....and rightly so, they have succeeded in putting this country in the toilet, so what better place to pick a candidate from.
They have some sinkers and they have some floaters, but mostly all they have are stinkers.
And who would want what is left in the toilet anyway, after all the good stuff has already been taken out, before they got pinched off and went plop-plop?
