The problem is they just don't care. They don't care what the average person thinks, they don't care what the average wants or needs, they don't care what is best for this country for the long haul. They just don't care.
The real telling story will be what does this democratic congress do. Will they finally have no choice but to stand up to these two despots and not flinch? Or will they cave, like so many times before, and remain part of the problem - not the solution to the problem.
