Big Rumors on the Restaurant Front
A successful local restaurateur is making a play for a recently vacated restaurant site, reportedly with the full endorsement of the powers that be.

That is all.....

Comments:
can you say whether that is on the east or west end of downtown?h

The rumor I heard is that Bill Gideon is making a pitch to take over Steeples at the Holiday Inn---but I have no verification on that--I know he had a good product line at his restaurants--- of course maybe Greg is the mover and shaker on this---- and would rather go the gourmet route than make 200 sandwiches--and try to keep his sanity and a smile on his face----

Gideon's attempt was rejected out of hand by those he asked to finance him.
